Katie McAlister brings fresh, elite D1 collegiate experience to the Beach Box coaching staff. A 2-year team captain at the University of Utah, Katie completed her collegiate career in 2026 at Loyola Marymount University, where she helped lead the Lions to a landmark 7th place finish at NCAA Nationals in Gulf Shores — one of the program's most impressive postseason performances.
A 2026 WCC Champion and 2x WCC Pair of the Week honoree, Katie competed at every position at the collegiate level, giving her a rare and comprehensive understanding of the game from every angle. She knows firsthand what it takes to compete, to lead, and to get recruited at the highest level of the sport.
At Beach Box, Katie is passionate about translating that experience into real, tangible growth for her athletes — helping them develop the skills, confidence, and competitive mindset needed to take their game to the next level
