Storm Faagata-Tufuga
Assistant Coach
Storm Faagata-Tufuga brings a decorated competitive background and a deep passion for the game to the Beach Box coaching staff. Originally from Long Beach, California, Storm developed his skills at the highest levels of the sport — earning a spot on the U21 Men's Junior National Team in 2014 before going on to play collegiate volleyball at BYU as an outside hitter from 2017 to 2019.
Following his collegiate career, Storm continued competing at the semi-professional level with the Utah Stinger from 2020 to 2023, and currently plays for the Salt Lake Apex. No stranger to the sand, Storm has long been a fixture in the beach volleyball community and brings firsthand experience in both the indoor and outdoor game to every training session.
At Beach Box, Storm is committed to helping athletes of all levels build the skills, competitiveness, and court IQ needed to reach their full potential.
