Ron Brandenburger is the quiet force behind The Cranky Pickle—steady, capable, and always willing. A retired Young Life leader in Texas, Ron has a natural gift for working with people, especially in group coaching and skill-specific drills.

You’ll often see him walking the facility, running a drill, helping players improve, starting a fire, or hopping behind the bar—usually without saying much, because he doesn’t need to.

Known as the Mayor of The Cranky Pickle and Cranky’s best friend, Ron is good at most things and somehow always where he’s needed. Bartender? Yes. Coach? Absolutely. Toilet cleaner?(not yet!)
