Rudolph – Pickleball Coach & Community Ambassador

• Rudolph is a passionate pickleball coach from San Antonio who brings a unique combination of technical knowledge, patience, and enthusiasm to the court. A graduate from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a degree in Computer Engineering, Rudolph approaches pickleball with both analytical thinking and a people first mindset, making him an approachable and effective coach for players of all skill levels.

• Rudolph began his pickleball journey in 2022 after noticing people playing at his local gym. What started as curiosity quickly turned into a passion as he discovered how fun, engaging, and welcoming the sport could be. Over the past 3-4 years, he has developed into a skilled player with a DUPR rating in the 4.0 range, focusing primarily on doubles play where teamwork, communication, and strategy play a major role.

• One of Rudolph's most unique strengths is that he is ambidextrous, allowing him to play effectively with both his left and right hand. This versatility gives him a distinctive perspective on shot selection, positioning, and court coverage. He currently plays with the Gearbox GBX and Gearbox GX2 Elongated 16mm paddles, equipment that compliments his strategic and placement oriented style of play.

• As a coach, Rudolph is known for his outgoing personality, patience, and ability to connect with people. He excels at creating a positive learning environment where players feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing their skills. His natural social skills and ability to help students progress efficiently while maintaining a fun and encouraging atmosphere.
