Pickleball Instructor & Front Desk Team Member

With a lifelong background in tennis and years of experience coaching high school athletes, Michael brings a deep technical understanding and a coach’s eye to pickleball. Formerly rated as high as a 5.0 DUPR in both singles and doubles, he combines high-level play with clear, practical instruction for players of all levels.

Coaching specialties include:

• Understanding and applying all grip types

• One-handed backhand swinging volleys and forehand swinging volleys

• Slice dinking (forehand and backhand)

• Topspin backhand dinking

• Two-handed backhand drives and returns

• Serve returns and effective split-step footwork

He also offers video-assisted instruction using the Swing Vision app, recording sessions and reviewing mechanics afterward so players can clearly see what’s working and where to improve.

In addition to instruction, Michael intends to help grow the competitive side of the game by bringing high-level men’s leagues to the Palace of Pickleball, creating more opportunities for advanced play and community development.
